Yeo Yih Hsiu is a registered architect based in Singapore. She graduated with B. Arch from Sci-Arc in 2002 and BA(AS) from NUS in 1999. As a recipient of the JTC scholarship, Yih Hsiu started her career working as a developer and urban-planner on large-scale projects such as Fusionopolis and one-north masterplan. She further developed her sensitivity to space at W Architects and WATG before starting SCSY Studio in 2014. As Director and co-founder at SCSY Studio, Yih Hsiu was able to hone her expertise in crafting luxury hospitality and bespoke residential environments. Based in Singapore, SCSY is a design studio that operates throughout Asia and beyond. SCSY strives to craft ideas that are both contextual and contemporary, and to imagine how architecture can transform unique experiences in ways that respond to the locality, imbued with a narrative that gives essence and a sense of place. Notable projects include the Four Seasons Okinawa, Four Seasons Tianjin, Autograph Collection Guilin, Marriott Penang, Intercontinental Resort Sapa and Fairmont Maldives Sirru Fen Fushi.
